Rostov Governor Claims Wagner PMC Was Supported by Disguised Mercenaries, Not Civilians

The governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, assures that the people who supported the PMC during the invasion of Rostov on June 24 were mercenaries in disguise. “These flags, hugs too ... These are insinuations, moreover, the Wagnerites themselves. Because they were in the city, including, as far as I know, not all of them dressed in military uniforms,” Golubev said.

The Rostovites themselves, according to the governor, were sitting at home on June 24 and preparing for a partisan struggle against the invaders. But they did not have time - the President of the Russian Federation quickly resolved the issue.
