Journalist Yelena Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov, victims of the attack in Chechnya, believe that an effective investigation is possible only if the case is transferred from this republic to another region. This was announced by the head of the "Team Against Torture" Sergei Babinets. “Our entire practice of work in the republic shows that the guilty person will not be found and will not suffer any punishment. Elena and Alexander were not interviewed, medical certificates are available only from the Grozny medical facility, where they received medical care, but no examinations were carried out,” said Babinets.

No one was detained, there are no suspects, no interviews of witnesses and victims, and no video cameras were confiscated.
