The lowest salary level in Russia is in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District

The republics of the North Caucasus continue to lag behind other regions of Russia in terms of salary levels. According to Rosstat, the average salary in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya and North Ossetia ranges from 44 to 51 thousand rubles.

The lowest figure in the country was recorded in Ingushetia - 41 thousand rubles. This is significantly lower than the Russian average of 97 thousand rubles.

Among the leaders in terms of income levels are Chukotka with an indicator of 223 thousand rubles, as well as the Yamalo-Nenets and Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Moscow and the Magadan Region. There, the figure is from 145 thousand to 185 thousand rubles. The difference between the maximum and minimum average salaries in the regions of Russia reached a record 182 thousand rubles.
