The Council of Dagestanis of Ukraine was created

The public organization "Dagestan National Center" announced the creation of the Council of Dagestanis of Ukraine. The decision was made at the meeting, the purpose of which was to coordinate and consolidate the Dagestan community in Ukraine.

According to the organization, about 15,000 Dagestanis live in Ukraine. All of them support the foreign and domestic policy of the country, its independence and territorial integrity. The initiators of the creation of the Council of Dagestanis declare that they deeply respect the Ukrainian people, their culture and traditions, their determination and strong will in the struggle for the right to self-identity. They also emphasize that this is the main common feature of the peoples of Dagestan and Ukraine.
