The Armenian newspaper Hraparak reported that Russia is developing new sanctions against Armenia in response to Yerevan's "anti-Russian actions." These actions include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's possible visit to the Yerevan summit on May 4-5.
The US Warned Georgia Against Helping the Kremlin Circumvent Sanctions
US National Security Advisor Sullivan during a conversation with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili warned that Georgia should not help the Russian Federation bypass Western sanctions
Earlier, Turkey, after a visit of officials from the USA without warning, stopped the transit of sanctions goods to Russia from March 1. The government does not risk falling under the EU’s secondary restrictions by helping the Kremlin with so-called parallel imports.
For Russians, this means that goods will come to the country with a delay, as well as a significant rise in prices due to customs clearance and additional fees.
