The new acting head of Dagestan, Fyodor Shchukin, has decided to dismiss the entire republican government. Magomed Ramazanov, who served as deputy presidential plenipotentiary representative in the Far Eastern Federal District and has experience with the FSB, was previously appointed to the vacant position of chairman of the regional government by presidential decree.
The United States called on the Georgian authorities to protect the rights of former President Mikheil Saakashvili and provide him with adequate medical care. He has been imprisoned in Tbilisi for more than a year and a half, his health condition is critical and constantly deteriorating.

Mikheil Saakashvili has been treated at the Vivamed civilian clinic since May 2022. The politician's health deteriorated after a 50-day hunger strike, which he announced after his arrest on October 1, 2021. His relatives and politicians from different countries have repeatedly asked the Georgian authorities to transfer him abroad for treatment.
