In March, the 2nd Western District Military Court in Moscow sentenced Nadezhda Kevorkova to a fine of 600,000 rubles in the case of justifying terrorism. The petition of the prosecutor, who asked for a sentence of 6 years imprisonment for the defendant, was rejected.
A criminal case was opened against Kevorkova because of two posts in the Telegram channel. The first is the publication of the old text of Orhan Jemal, who died in the Central African Republic, about one of the leaders of the "attack on Nalchik" in 2005. The second publication was allegedly devoted to the justification of the Taliban movement.
