UAE court fines Georgian "dreamers" $80,000
A court in the United Arab Emirates has fined ruling party members of the Georgian parliament Irakli Zarkua and Viktor Sanikidze $80,000. This is the punishment for their participation in a high-profile brawl that recently took place in an Abu Dhabi hotel. This was reported by the opposition TV channel Mtavari.

According to the channel, the Georgian parliamentarians have already returned to Tbilisi. None of the participants in the brawl have yet commented on the information received.

On January 13, Georgian Dream MPs Zarkua and Sanikidze attacked opposition-minded citizen Lasha Gabitashvili during breakfast in an Abu Dhabi hotel, throwing plates of food at him. The latter himself distributed a video of the brawl on social networks. He also admitted that the day before the incident he cursed Georgian Dream MP Irakli Zarkua, calling him a traitor to the Motherland.
