US court charges Chechen "hacker" with fraud

A jury in the US state of Maryland has brought a new charge against 22-year-old Chechen native Amin Stigall. This time, the man is accused of fraud.

Earlier, Stigall, who is called a hacker in the US, was accused of attacking Ukrainian government websites together with five Russian intelligence officers. This was reported by Radio Liberty, citing the US Department of Justice.

In addition to Stigall, charges have been brought against Colonel Yuri Denisov and Lieutenants Vladislav Borovkov, Denis Denisenko, Dmitry Goloshubov, and Nikolai Korchagin.

Previously, a reward of up to $10 million was promised for information about Stigall's whereabouts or his criminal activities.
