The flow of tourists to Chechnya and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic has grown significantly
The tourist flow to Chechnya has exceeded 400 thousand people per year for the first time and has grown fourfold over the past five years. This is primarily due to the development of the Veduchi resort. In addition, many major events were held in the republic last year: the Caucasus Investment Forum, a gastronomic festival, etc. By 2030, Chechnya expects a tourist flow of at least 1.5 million people.
 
The number of tourists in Karachay-Cherkessia has also grown by 7%: in 2024, 2.25 million tourists visited the republic. The most popular ski resorts are: Arkhyz received 1.073 million people, and Dombay-Teberda - 994 thousand. The Medovye Vodopady tourist complex was visited by 186 thousand people.
 
From December 29 to January 8, Elbrus (KCR) and Veduchi (Chechnya) were visited by almost 60 thousand people. Tourists from 89 regions came to Elbrus.
