Kadyrov-linked company exports rapeseed from Ukraine

The Grozny-registered company "Torgtrade" exported 2.6 thousand tons of rapeseed oilseed from the Kherson region of Ukraine, which is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. This is the property of 77-year-old resident of Chechnya Roza Mollaeva. Tamerlan Berikhanov, a former employee of the Grozny administration's finance department, answered the journalists' phone number registered in her name.

Berikhanov turned out to be linked to Zurab Isayev, the son of Khusein Isayev's brother. The latter headed the State Council of Chechnya and was killed along with Akhmat Kadyrov during the explosion on May 9, 2004, at the Dynamo stadium.

A joint investigation by the Belarusian Investigative Center, the Ukrainian hacker association KibOrg, and the Radio Liberty project "Scheme" states that "Torgtrade" exported Kherson region half of the rapeseed in 2023 to Belarus, from where the processed grain is exported to third countries.

Presumably after meeting the Isayev family, close to Ramzan Kadyrov, Berikhanov's business grew: the revenue of the company registered in 2023 increased from 50 thousand to 200 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that in April 2022, in Melitopol in the south of the Zaporizhia region, Russian military personnel took out agricultural machinery worth a total of 1.5 million euros. It was later found in Chechnya, in the village of Zakan-Yurt. Tamerlan Khuchiev, who was the executive director of the Akhmat Kadyrov public foundation for 11 years, is from there.
