Jehovah's Witness from Adygea sentenced to 6 years in prison
The Maikop City Court of Adygea found Inver Siyukhov guilty of organizing the activities of an extremist organization and sentenced him to 6 years in prison.
The man has been in custody since April 2021. He was accused of participating in the organization “Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia,” which was recognized as extremist. According to the investigation, Inver Siyukhov held meetings, coordinated speeches and services, and attracted new followers. At the same time, the believer allegedly realized the illegality of his actions and took “conspiracy measures to conceal illegal activities.”
