Kadyrov's son receives new highest award in Chechnya

Adam, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has been awarded the highest award in the region – the Kadyrov Order. This was announced by the Chairman of the Government of the Republic, Magomed Daudov.

16-year-old Adam was awarded for being "a worthy grandson of the first president of the region, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov."

Adam Kadyrov is the curator of the Russian University of Special Forces, and also heads the department for ensuring his father's security. Last year, he received at least nine awards, including the title of Hero of Chechnya. Kadyrov Jr. began receiving awards after he beat up Nikita Zhuravel in a pretrial detention center, who burned the Koran and was subsequently convicted of insulting the feelings of believers.
