The son of a Chechen billionaire was released from custody
23-year-old Timur Bazhaev, the son of Chechen billionaire Musa Bazhaev, was released from custody. Earlier, a criminal case was opened against him under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities.

According to the official version, Timur Bazhaev got into a fight with the police in response to the search. The emergency took place on the evening of July 27 in Moscow, near the Luzhniki stadium. A young man, violating public order, got into a conflict with a police officer and hit him when he wanted to go to the Lastochka restaurant.

Timur Bazhaev himself said in court that the colonel of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs attacked him first. He asked the policemen how to get to the closed restaurant, and in response he heard words and insults. According to Bazhaev, the security guard was the first to attack, and he had to fight back.

58-year-old Musa Bazhaev previously said that he is not going to "fight personally" and that if his son is to blame and "is involved somewhere, he will be held accountable."
