In Crimea, police officers issued human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov a warning against violating the law. Law enforcement officials explained the document's origins in connection with the upcoming holiday on May 9th, but such actions typically occur shortly before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People (May 18th).
The 15-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, received two new awards. This is the Order of “Labor Valor of Russia” and the medal “For Contribution to the Development of the Russian Special Forces University”, 1st degree. To date, Adam Kadyrov has already received eight awards and a high rank after beating student Nikita Zhuravel, accused of burning the Koran, in a pre-trial detention center in Grozny.
Previously, Kadyrov's son received the Order "For Service to the Religion of Islam" 1st degree, the title "Hero of the Chechen Republic", the Order of the Chechen Parliament "Daimekhkan Siy" ("Honor of the Fatherland") and the award "For Services to the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic", the Order "Duslyk" (the second most important state award of Tatarstan), “For services to the Karachay-Cherkess Republic” and “For services to the Ummah”, 1st degree.
