A native of Chechnya, Temirlan Eskerkhanov, went to one of the assault units and is now performing combat missions in the "SVO" zone. It is reported that the contract with the former convict is valid for one year.
According to the investigation, Eskerkhanov was tracking the murdered politician and drove the participants in the crime in a car. Nemtsov was shot on the night of February 28, 2015. For this, Eskerkhanov was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2017.
Other convicts in the same case are serving their sentences in colonies and have not expressed a desire to go to the "SVO" zone.
