Three regions of the North Caucasus Federal District are leading in terms of birth rate

Today in Russia there are regions where the birth rate is high and provides a natural increase. This was announced during a government hour in the Federation Council by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

The total birth rate per 1,000 population for 2022 in Russia was 8.9. Top positions were occupied by Chechnya (coefficient 20.8), Tyva (17.7), Ingushetia (15.3) and Dagestan (13.3). At the same time, a very low birth rate was noted in 10 regions, namely in the Leningrad, Smolensk, Ryazan, Tula, Vladimir, Penza, Oryol, Saratov, Tambov regions and Mordovia.

Turkey has abolished the "foreigner" status for citizens of Turkic states, signing a decree simplifying their employment. Now, residents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan will be able to work and do business in Turkey without citizenship or special permits (except for military and security service).
