Ukraine thanked Azerbaijan for humanitarian aid

Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Elena Kondratyuk thanked the President of Azerbaijan for the order to provide another humanitarian aid to her country in the amount of $7.6 million.

The letter states that at the end of 2022, Azerbaijan sent 45 transformers and 50 generators for the needs of Ukraine, and the total amount of assistance provided at that time exceeded $17.5 million. In addition, Azerbaijan accepted dozens of Ukrainian children for treatment and completely restored the destroyed school in Irpen.

“By the decision to allocate funds for a new batch of humanitarian aid, the leader of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, confirmed the strategic nature of relations between our countries,” Kondratyuk said.
