On the night of August 25, drones attacked several districts in the Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblasts. The worst consequences were in the village of Afipsky in Krasnodar Krai: two people were killed and two more were injured after debris fell on a train station.

At least ten private homes were damaged in Afipsky, one of which caught fire. A fire also broke out on the grounds of an oil refinery. This is not the first time the Afipsky Oil Refinery has been the target of attacks. Monitoring channels claim that drones struck the refinery directly last night, and a storage tank caught fire on its grounds.

Another incident allegedly occurred in the Rostov Oblast. The Supernova+ channel reported an attack on the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery. Regional Governor Yuri Slyusar made no mention of the refinery being hit. According to him, drone debris damaged four private homes in Novoshakhtinsk. A forest caught fire in the Kamensky district, and dry grass caught fire in Krasnosulinsky. There were no casualties.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this morning that Russian air defense systems had destroyed 148 aerial targets overnight. However, the ministry did not specify how many drones were involved in the attack or how many of them hit the targets.

The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on the reports of the strikes.
