Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has been noticeably less active on air recently. His evening show on the Rossiya-1 channel is temporarily absent, and his morning broadcasts on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio are now hosted by others. The reasons for this disappearance are being actively discussed online.
In Nizhnevartovsk, Adam Korigov, a native of Ingushetia, was fined 20,000 rubles for speaking out against the "Russian Community."
According to the case file, Korigov stated in a grocery store, "I am a current drug enforcement officer. I will not give the 'Russian Community' a damn..." According to local television channel N1, the incident occurred during a brawl. After his arrest, a video of Korigov's apology, with his back to the camera, appeared on the website of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Department of Internal Affairs.
The court classified the statement as aimed at "inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of nationality or race" (Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The prosecution cited forensic evidence, which revealed Korigov's words to be "disdainful and hostile toward representatives of Russian nationality." Furthermore, Korigov was convicted of hooliganism and sentenced to 360 hours of community service.
The "Russian Community" organization, active since 2020, is known for its anti-immigrant protests and possible ties to Russian security forces.
