Today, Azerbaijan celebrates the 34th anniversary of its restoration of state independence. On August 30, 1991, the Supreme Council of the Republic adopted the Declaration on the Restoration of Independence, and on October 18 of the same year, the Constitutional Act enshrining this status was adopted.

A native of Chechnya, Zelimkhan O., was detained by Polish border guards, after which he was sent to a deportation camp. It is reported by "Caucasus. Realities". The former wife of the detainee is sure that his life is in danger in Russia.

Zelimkhan was forced to leave France on August 24 due to a ban on further stay in the country. France handed over all the materials of his case to the Russian security forces, after which he was put on the wanted list.
