The GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia completed the investigation of the criminal case of the murder of businessman Tair Gurshumov in Moscow in 1996 and the attempted attack of singer Avraham Russo in 2006. The organization of the criminals was incriminated against the former free fighter from Chechnya Tarkhan Eldukayev. According to the investigation, he acted on the orders of the businessman Telman Ismailov, who was declared on the international wanted list.
 
According to the SC, the wrestler found executors who have not yet been established. On December 23, 1996, they shot the brothers Tair and Telman Gurshumovy. The first one died, the second one survived after being wounded.
 
Tarkhan Eldukayev pleaded not guilty, and his lawyers point out that there is no evidence of the accused's involvement in these crimes. In addition, the statute of limitations has expired for all reasonable episodes. Eldukaev submitted a series of statements with a request to send him to the "SVO", but was left in custody. He has the second group of disabilities, suffers from a number of diseases, including a severe form of psoriasis. However, medicines are not allowed in pre-trial detention centers.
