Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has commented on Armenia’s plans to begin preparing an application to join the European Union, saying Yerevan would ultimately fail to secure EU membership but could seriously damage its relations with Russia and other members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
A native of Chechnya was fined twice for supporting Ukraine
The Surgut City Court fined a local resident, a native of Chechnya, Marina Lolokhaeva twice, 30 and 40 thousand rubles. She was found guilty of discrediting the Russian army.
In particular, the woman was first fined for a comment on a social network expressing support for Ukraine and containing a statement that Nazism rules in the Russian Federation. In addition, the accused posted a picture of balloons in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and a pacifist inscription on a social network.
The court's website also notes that the woman "made public statements of a negative attitude towards the special military operation being conducted on the territory of Ukraine, including that the special military operation in Ukraine is a "war."
