Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.
In Adygea, a serviceman was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for completing his contract service

Maikop garrison military court sentenced serviceman Gurgen Hakobyan to 5.5 years in a penal colony. He was found guilty of leaving the military unit without permission during the period of mobilization.
According to investigators, Hakobyan served under contract from June to September 2022 in Maikop. Later, he filed a letter of resignation and did not appear in the unit, while trying to transfer to other military units of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, but he was refused.
Despite the fact that the military left the place of service after the end of the three-month contract, he was convicted of leaving the unit without permission.
