In Adygea, a woman was sentenced to forced labor on charges of trying to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office

Victoria Magarina, found guilty of an attempt on the military commissariat building in the capital of Adygea, Maykop, was sentenced to four months of forced labor.

According to investigators, in July 2023, at the suggestion of an unidentified person, the woman undertook to set fire to the building of the House of Officers and the military registration and enlistment office of Adygea for 500 thousand rubles. She threw a brick at the window of the premises to break it before throwing a homemade incendiary device. However, she was unable to throw the brick to the target, and when she tried again, she was detained by police officers.

Since the beginning of the SVO, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has identified 220 cases of attacks and arson on government buildings and military registration and enlistment offices.
