The Office of the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation confirmed that there was no crime in the beating of prisoner Nikita Zhuravel by Kadyrov’s son

The office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia agreed with the arguments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Grozny, which did not find a crime in the beating of prisoner Nikita Zhuravel in a pre-trial detention center by the son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov. Accordingly, the initiation of a criminal case on this fact was refused.

Let us recall that at the end of September 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov published a video in which his 16-year-old son beats student Zhuravel in a pre-trial detention center in Grozny. After this, Adam Kadyrov was awarded many state and republican awards and titles.

In May 2023, a student from Volgograd, Nikita Zhuravel, burned the Koran near the cathedral mosque. In Grozny he is being tried for publicly insulting the feelings of believers and hooliganism. He admitted his guilt and apologized.

The court in Grozny recently completed the interrogation of the victims - 13 mosque imams. They declared the moral damage that Zhuravel caused to them and all Muslims with his act.
