A teenager from Adygea is threatened with violence in an Arkhangelsk colony

The administration of IK-14 Gorka-Muravyovskaya (Arkhangelsk region) began to threaten with physical violence 19-year-old Kevin Lik from Adygea, convicted in a treason case.

The young man cannot contact his relatives and lawyer. His letters do not reach his family. After complaining, he began to come under pressure. His mother wrote appeals to the Public Monitoring Commission and the prosecutor's office.

In December 2023, Kevin Leak was sentenced to four years in prison. According to security officials, the young man was filming a military unit in Maykop and sending photographs by email to “representatives of a foreign state.” The investigation claimed that the defendant’s actions were caused by “disagreement with the political course” of the Russian authorities and the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
