A US representative appeared in the Armenian army

The representative of the American army in the Armenian Ministry of Defense will be a civilian adviser to the US State Department. The American Embassy in Yerevan reported this.

The department noted that a representative has already been selected and will begin work in the near future. It is also emphasized that it will be financed “not by the US Army or the Department of Defense, but by the State Department.”

Recently, the United States and Armenia began joint military exercises in Yerevan, Eagle Partner 2024. American instructors will train Armenian peacekeepers for 10 days.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on joint military exercises between the United States and Armenia.

“They cause nothing but regret. They will take place against the backdrop of Yerevan freezing its participation in the CSTO and public attacks against the organization. Whatever peaceful goals the Westerners declare, the main task is to create a springboard for geopolitical projects,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova.
