Armenia hopes for a peace treaty with Azerbaijan

Baku and Yerevan are close to signing a peace treaty. This was stated by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan. “We are very close and have a historic opportunity to sign a peace treaty. An eternal war is not beneficial to anyone,” he noted.

During a meeting in Spain on October 5, the heads of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, can agree on the main parameters of the future world.

Meanwhile, 3 thousand residents left Karabakh under control of Azerbaijan for Armenia. The relocation of the Armenians began on the morning of September 24. Today the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Karabakh is expected to begin.
