Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat volunteer unit of the Russian National Guard, denied reports from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense about wiretapping his headquarters. He called the recordings "AI and LGBT work."
Vano Sabashvili, a Georgian citizen who fought in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has been taken into custody in Armenia. Russia had previously placed him on the international wanted list.
Sabashvili, who served in the Georgian army, fought on the Ukrainian side as part of the International Legion. A DPR court convicted him in absentia for participating in hostilities against the Russian Federation. The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office will consider his possible extradition. Sabashvili's lawyer claims that the Georgian government is not providing him with the necessary protection.
This is not the first such incident: after entering Armenia in early September, another Georgian citizen, Georgiy Kinoyan, who also fought for Ukraine, was detained. Russia is demanding his extradition.
