Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

The Azerbaijani authorities must demand the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from the former Karabakh conflict zone. This was stated by the chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan party, Ali Karimli.
According to Karimli, Russian peacekeepers are protecting the weapons of Armenians from the Azerbaijani army. In fact, the Russian army is guarding these weapons in order to transfer them to Armenian forces again in the future, the politician noted.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the dismantling of six observation and 15 temporary posts of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh. Further actions of the contingent will be discussed with Baku, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said the day before.
