In Chechnya and Ingushetia there was a collapse in housing construction

In Chechnya, between January and March 2023, 47% less housing was put into operation than in the same period of the previous year. In Ingushetia, the collapse amounted to 33%, as reported by the Rosstat Department for SFD.
In general, in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in January-March this year, 12.5% less housing was put into operation than in the same period of 2022.

In Stavropol Territory the indicator was 451 thousand. sq. m. of housing (-11%), in North Ossetia - 198 thousand. sq. m. (+210%). In Dagestan, 205.6 thousand sq. m (40.8%), in Karachaevo-Cherkessia - 107.7 thousand sq. m (29.7%), in Kabardino-Balkaria - 97 thousand sq. m. m. (+56%).
