Zelensky called on the Arab states to support the Crimean Tatars and Muslims of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Saudi Arabia for the summit of the Arab League (LAS). He was accompanied by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev.

“Crimea and the Tatars should remain an integral part of the Muslim community of the world, but Crimea was the first to suffer from Russian occupation. The Muslims suffered the most from the occupation. Unfortunately, in the world, and here, among you, there are those who turn a blind eye to these cases and illegal annexations,” Zelensky said.

At the summit of the League of Arab States, the President of Ukraine made a speech and called on the participants to contribute to the protection of the Ukrainian Muslim society: “Please hear the Crimean Tatar people, hear the Muslims of Ukraine!”.
