Chechnya launched an investigation into the beating of a prisoner in a pre-trial detention center by Kadyrov's son

Employees of the police department No. 1 of the Akhmatovsky district of the city of Grozny began an investigation into the video published in the media of the beating of Nikita Zhuravel by the son of Ramzan Kadyrov, Adam Kadyrov, in the Grozny pre-trial detention center-1. The progress of the investigation is under the control of the Chechen prosecutor's office.

Previously, Instagram blocked the account of 15-year-old Adam Kadyrov for violating community guidelines. Before this, after the publication of a video of the beating of 19-year-old student from Volgograd Nikita Zhuravel, who was arrested for burning the Koran, the son of the head of Chechnya posted a photo with the caption: “You can gossip, hate, envy and discuss me. But we both understand that when we meet, you will smile sweetly at me.”

Previously, with the approval of President Putin, Zhuravel was sent to a pre-trial detention center in Chechnya, where he still faces torture and death.
