Chechnya reports on successes in healthcare, education and housing construction

From 2006 to 2024, the housing stock in Chechnya increased by 30.6 million square meters, reaching 35.6 million square meters. This was announced by the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov on the day of the celebration of the Constitution of Chechnya.

In addition, 267 healthcare facilities have been commissioned over 24 years. The number of doctors has increased almost threefold - to 4,703 specialists, and mid-level medical personnel - more than 2.3 times. The number of schools has reached 622 with a student population of 382 thousand (for comparison: in 2000 there were 239 schools for 97 thousand children). Over the same period, the number of kindergartens has increased from 17 to 495, raising more than 91 thousand children.

Overall, Kadyrov named the strengthening of legislative and judicial power, growth in education, healthcare and construction as Chechnya’s key achievements over the past 25 years.
