In Chechnya, the number of marriages has sharply decreased

From January to September, the largest reduction in family marriages in the SCFD was registered in Chechnya — a drop of 36.5% compared to the same period in 2022. This is reported by Rosstat.

In Dagestan, people began to marry less by 23.8% and in Ingushetia by 20.2%. In Karachay-Cherkessia, the decline in the indicator was 18.5%, in North Ossetia — 4.4%, in Kabardino-Balkaria — 1.1%.

In addition, the number of divorces increased in four regions of the North Caucasian Federal District. The most in North Ossetia — by 16.4%. Divorces became more frequent in Kabardino-Balkaria by 9.9%, in Dagestan by 6.1%. True, in Ingushetia, a decrease in the indicator was recorded by 0.9%, in Karachay-Cherkessia - by 22.6%, and in Chechnya - by 26.5%.
