Chechnya announced that 28,000 people were sent to war with Ukraine

Since the beginning of the "special operation" from Chechnya, more than 28,000 people have been sent to the war zone in Ukraine - natives of different regions of the Russian Federation. Of these, 13 thousand are volunteers. Over 7 thousand fighters are currently at the forefront. Such data was cited by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.

According to Kadyrov, Chechen units are currently involved along the entire front line.
“The Bakhmut and Orekhovskoye directions are considered the most difficult, where the enemy regularly makes attempts to break through the defense line. Despite the difficulties that arise, our guys successfully repel enemy attacks, cutting off any opportunity to take winning positions, ”Kadyrov said.

From Chechnya to the war in Ukraine, as part of Kadyrov's detachments, "guilty" ones are also sent. These are those who fell out of favor with the leadership or are relatives of the opposition. Among the latter is Hussein Zakaev, nephew of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in exile, Akhmed Zakaev.
