Dagestan and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic have seen an increase in tourist flow

According to the Russian Union of Travel Industry, in the summer of 2025, Crimea is leading in terms of growth in demand for domestic tourist trips (+42%). The top three also include the Yaroslavl Region (+22%) and Dagestan (+20%).

Kabardino-Balkaria and Kuzbass (+17%), Volgograd Region (+15%), Krasnoyarsk Region and Kirov Region (+14%), Adygea and Buryatia (+12%), Primorsky Region (+10%) and Vologda Region (+8%) have shown significant growth.

Overall, interest in traveling around Russia has remained stable this season, but the decline in popularity of the Krasnodar Region, caused by environmental problems and unfavorable weather conditions at the beginning of the season, has restrained the overall growth of tourist flow.
