In Dagestan, two muftiate employees were fired over the Palestinian issue

Advisor to the mufti, founder of the Insan Foundation and head of the reconciliation department of the Muftiate of Dagestan, Magomed-Rasul Saaduev, was dismissed from his position. Earlier, he made a statement that “the entire Muslim world considers what is happening in Palestine to be jihad.” For the same reason, the head of the fatwa department under the muftiate, Zainulla Ataev, was dismissed. Previously, both worked as imams of the Juma Mosque.

“All employees of the Muftiate were informed of the Mufti’s instructions not to make unauthorized and loud statements that agitate the Dagestanis, taking into account the Dagestani mentality. We see the passivity of the entire Muslim world regarding the terrible genocide that is happening today in Palestine. And even the Muslim countries neighboring Palestine. It is enough that we all today are in solidarity with this terrible tragedy, that Palestinians are dying as martyrs in their homes,” the Muftiate said.
On the initiative of the Mufti of Dagestan, collective night prayers and Dua are held in all mosques. Unauthorized speeches are not worthy and are not encouraged for employees of any serious organization, the organization summarized.
