In Dagestan, a man mobilized with spinal injuries is returned to the front

The command of the military unit in Dagestan sent Aleksey Abramov, mobilized from the Krasnodar Territory, to the war in Ukraine despite serious health problems. This was reported by the wife of the soldier Ksenia, who had previously secured his return from the frontline zone for medical reasons.

Abramov is serving at the point of permanent deployment of the unit in Dagestan Buynaksk. He has already received a travel certificate about being sent to the front from September 2 "to perform special tasks." According to Aleksey's wife, in their unit, the military is sent to the front immediately, and it is likely that her husband will be there very soon. Referring to the words of her husband, Ksenia said that in some cases such certificates were issued even to those who did not pass the medical examination and who were scheduled for surgery. In response to the arguments of the battalion command, the unit's leadership stated that they did not care.

Alexey Abramov has numerous pathologies of the spine: large hernias, displacement of the vertebrae and protrusions. Because of them, he is unable to lift weights and wear body armor. However, the military registration and enlistment office of the Krasnodar Territory previously stated that Abramov's illness does not prevent military service.

Earlier, Ksenia Abramova achieved the return of her husband from the front and the passage of a military medical commission. To do this, she had to apply to various authorities and even go out in a single picket in front of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory. Human rights activists note that this is far from the only case of conscription without a medical examination as part of partial mobilization.
