The mayor of Kizilyurt was detained in Dagestan

In Dagestan, the mayor of the city of Kizilyurt, Magomed Magomedov, was detained. He is suspected of embezzlement during the period when he served as Minister of Sports of the Republic (2012-2021).

The case is being investigated by the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee. Other questions may arise for Magomedov, as federal investigators are investigating the case.
