Significant shortage of contractors recorded in Dagestan

Only 1,300 people expressed their desire to join the ranks of contract soldiers in Dagestan. At the same time, according to the statement of the mayor's office of Makhachkala, it was planned to recruit 5725 people. Thus, the plan was fulfilled by less than a quarter (22.7%). For what period these figures are given is not specified.

At the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council of Dagestan, Magomed Baachilov, announced the need for "campaigning and informative work" to attract residents to contract service. Competent persons are instructed to inform the population about state benefits for military personnel, which rely on "employees of enterprises, organizations and institutions."

Recall that Dagestan entered the "leaders" among the regions of the Russian Federation in terms of the number of those killed in the war with Ukraine. So, in the list of the publication “Kavkaz. Realii” lists more than 680 killed natives of the republic.
