Investigation into the murder of a mixed martial arts fighter completed in Dagestan
The Investigative Department of Makhachkala has completed the investigation into the criminal case into the murder of 21-year-old MMA fighter Magomed Mutayev. The materials have been sent to court for approval of the indictment.

The accused, 18-year-old Nadirkhan Kadirkhanov, confessed to the crime. He explained that the murder was revenge for bullying by the athlete. According to the guy, first he was beaten by Mutayev's friends, and then he himself and his comrades.

Mutayev and Kadirkhanov used to be friends. However, the former did not like that his friend mentioned in the company that the fighter's father had once been convicted. According to Nadirkhan, he was beaten by a crowd, his head was cut off, and they planned to burn an obscene word on his back. After some time, they began to mock and insult him again, saying that he was "not a man." As a result, on January 31, 2024, the young man ambushed Mutayev near his house and shot him.
