The first list of "foreign agents" was published in Georgia, including the Ukrainian organization

The Georgian authorities named the first organizations that fall under the definition of "foreign agent". The list included "Youth organization of Ukrainians in Georgia - Svytanok", "Professional Union of Farmers and Agricultural Workers", "Home of Youth in Kutaisi", "Christian Union", "Jewish Cultural and Educational Fund".
According to the new law, organizations financed by more than 20% from abroad must apply for the status of "foreign agent". If they do not do this, they will be fined 25 thousand GEL. In total, 476 NGOs and mass media submitted applications for voluntary registration in the register of "foreign agents", which lasted from August 1 to September 2.
