In Ingushetia, four policemen were arrested for torturing a man

In the Ingush Malgobek, the court arrested four police officers. They are accused under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (exceeding official powers with the use of violence by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).

According to investigators, on October 5, four employees of the Malgobeksky Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs used violence and extorted money from a detained local resident. They demanded that he confess to drug possession. According to the Investigative Directorate for Ingushetia, the police were placed in a pre-trial detention center.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an internal investigation into the actions of its employees. If their guilt is confirmed, they will be fired and prosecuted in accordance with the procedure established by law.
