In the CBD, two contract workers - father and son - received long terms for evasion of service

The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced contract worker Khachim Borsov to six years, and his son Charym to five years in the colony. They were found guilty of evading military service.

According to the investigation, the father and son served in the same unit and voluntarily left the deployment point on August 24, 2024. In February 2025, they appeared separately at the investigative department. Both pleaded guilty in court.

Borsov Sr. had an outstanding conviction for a serious crime, but was released after concluding a contract with the Ministry of Defense.

Previously, the Nalchik Garrison Military Court had already sentenced contract workers and those mobilized to real terms for evasion of service many times. In particular, Algiz Valytov received two years in prison, Amerkhan Kurskiev five years. In addition, Arsen Baev and Murat Khapov were sentenced to seven and five years in prison, respectively.
