In the KBR, two servicemen were sentenced to real terms for leaving a unit

The Nalchik garrison court sentenced contractor Rakhim Baisakharov to five years in prison. He took part in the "SVO" and was wounded. Baysakharov's fault lies in the fact that after being wounded, he spent more than three months outside the military unit. His sentence was reduced for "sincere repentance and admission of guilt."

In addition, another contract soldier, Alimbek Kaziev, was sentenced to two years in prison in the KBR. He was also charged with leaving the unit. Kaziev's contract expired in November 2022. The man quit, but did not have the right to do so, since the regime of partial mobilization was in effect, which means that he had to continue to serve, according to the text of the verdict.

Earlier, courts in the KBR, Chechnya and other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District sentenced to real terms dozens of servicemen who left military units for various reasons. Many of them participated in the "SVO".
