32-year-old Dokhov was mobilized in September 2022. According to the investigation, in June 2023, he did not show up at his unit in the village of Prokhladny (Karabakh Republic) after being granted leave. He was detained at the end of May 2024 in Kishpek at his sister's house and taken to the military commandant's office.
 
Artur Dokhov participated in a "special operation" against Ukraine and has a state award. He was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
