The request states that the Center for Emergency Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Karachay-Cherkessia is carrying out preventive measures aimed at suppressing the spread of ideas of religious, nationalist, political hatred and enmity, as well as identifying persons involved in the promotion of extremist ideas in educational institutions.
Previously, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Karachay-Cherkessia banned the wearing of the niqab until the identified threats were eliminated and a new theological conclusion was reached.
