During the annual "Year in Review" press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about support for young families, noted the tradition of early marriages in the North Caucasus. He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.
A student at the Russian State Social University (RGSU) named Alan argued about Stalinist repressions during a lecture, as reported by Baza.
A teacher at the Department of General Law, Andrei Belikov, said that these historical events did not play a special role and, in fact, they did not exist. After Alan recalled that many peoples of the USSR suffered and were deported by the Stalinist regime, the student was kicked out of the classroom. Then he was called to the dean's office and to the student council. There Alan was criticized for inappropriate behavior. In a personal conversation, one of the dean’s office employees admitted that students were asked to write memos.
First, Alan was evicted from the hostel. Then it was decided to expel him from RGSU, allegedly for absenteeism. However, according to him, he hardly missed classes. And when the young man began to prepare for eviction, police and military registration and enlistment officers came to him.
The guy was taken to the military commissariat - his deferment as a student is no longer valid.
